Spotlight: Dr. Dennis Hammond

Dr. Dennis Hammond is well recognized in the world of plastic surgery as an authority on aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast. He has developed multiple techniques that have been revolutionary to breast procedures. One such technique is the SPAIR Technique, which successfully removes breast tissue while maintaining the natural, soft curves of the breast over time. This technique is also shown to significantly reduce scarring, recovery time, and the risk of complications resulting from the procedure. Dr. Hammond frequently uses Surgiform’s PTFE (GORE-TEX*) sutures when performing The SPAIR Technique.

Additionally, Dr. Hammond makes regular national and international speaking engagements. This August he will be speaking on breast augmentation and the LIFT technique for augmentation mastopexy and the BSBC Symposium. Later this year, Dr. Hammond will be leading a “Deep Dive Pathway” on breast reduction at the ASPS’s Plastic Surgery: The Meeting. Dr. Hammond’s notable success in the world of plastic surgery is not limited to the operating room and conference room. He has also authored countless chapters, scientific papers and peer-reviewed articles.
